Two health related questions for the group:

Q1. Can anyone recommend a good vet in Sacramento area? I have two standards, but I think one is not feeling so great. We just moved to the area and I want to go to a vet that specialized in poodles - if possible.

Q2. About the standard not feeling well, Kona. He is really sinny and doesn't have as much pep as my other. They are the same age, but Kona is 10 pounds lighter at 58-60. I have had blood work done and some protein levels are slightly low. The other day we were hiking and playing in the river - it was hot. After a couple of hours of playing, Kona practically collapsed. He started staggering and after 20 minutes or so of this he fell and just laid there. My other standard was still running around with plenty of energy.

Does this sound like a problem to anyone else? Is he sick or is he just fragile?
