Stuart, Copyright, 2002 Andy McLeodWhat would People photography be without botched html? Thank you Jeff, i copied your post. Does Photo.net serve links outside of photo.net? I couldn't get my original link to photo.net to view at all, and hat to use my ftp space.

Andy - the problem is that you tried to post a page rather than the image. If you go to the page you referenced and do a right click (assuming PC) and get the properties, you will find the URL of the image itself. You then have to do the brackets and img src="that URL" and you will get right.Cute kid pic, but the white blanket makes it seem a bit broken up.

I like the pose, the viewing angle and the 'feel'.But I don't like the depth of the shadow on his face, and I don't like the variations in the background/support. The white cloth is very distracting, and the brown thing he's lying on looks like a pair of knees in corduroy trousers and I keep wondering where the person's torso has got to.
This could be interesting if you made the background a uniform shade, preferably dark, and evened out the lighting on him a bit.

You mean if I got the little wiggle-worm in front of a seamless and set some lights? I'm sorry but those little angels can scream if you wake them up. They are courdurois, it is a foot. The perspective is funny 'cause the nikon 950 twists in the middle, and I held above us and compose in the twistified viewfinder. The more prepared photos tend to look, well more prepared.

But yeah. The shadow is a bit harsh. Digital is a contrasty medium sometimes.
