I discovered two negatives of my dog (before I was born) sitting on the dining room chair which she often did at special occasions. I want to print photos from them as there are none that I know of. Will this work?

Sure Betsy, why not? As long as your enlarger/lens combination will accept the size negative you have.

Betsy, negatives are in most cases used to print photographs out of them. So, I don't see why it shouldn't work out with your dog's negs. Better adress yourself to a professional to do the job.
