I just like to thank a number of BBSers who have offered me tickets due to me having no season tix for this upcoming season. I've taken a list of emails and I might come round sniffin, but I'll only be sniffin 50% of the time because I have half a ticket. I'm sharing the cost of £412 so that's £206, with one of my Toon fanatic mates. I think I'm now a Gallowgate ender $0}
Now then? what's the fairest way of splitting the matches?

Decide now before the fixture list appears , who goes to the 1st match then alternate. For champ league and cup matches its more difficult cos who goes to the final , that i cant help you with.

I used to share my ticket with my cousin. Most of the time it worked out Ok until cup games. I also suggest you decide before the season starts and stick to your decision. I hope your friendship with your mate is a good one - there was murder on with my arrangement on a number of occasions. Luckily we're still speaking!

When I shared a ticket with a mate we sat down and picked teams. If one wanted to see a particular team (eg Man Utd) then a concession was made on any other team the other person wanted. For cup finals we decided one each dependent on if we reached that far. he had the FA Cup so kept going but I managed to twist his arm and persuade him to let me go down for the Semi against Chelsea. Got to see one Champ Lge game last time but it wasn't Barca.

Probably best to take alternate games. You can always swap around later but it saves arguing over the big games. For cup games it's worth applying for an extra ticket when you send the voucher in.

I agree that alternate games is best. Our system only worked because we were both happy to work it through over a couple of seasons so I got to see almost every team that was in the premership by alternating the teams we saw each season. The only problem being you could go up to two month without seeing a game and then see every game for the following two month. It would only work with compromise.

It is always a good idea to try and apply for the extra cup ticket because unless it's the latter stages there's generally plenty.

The only fair way is for you to go to the home games and he go to the away ones.
