value before and after CLA

I have a 1956 Elmar 90/4 chrome screw mount lens with a slight haze in mint- condition. Would it be worth me time and money to have the haze cleaned off before I sell it?

Thanks

I think it's a wash. CLA would cost $75-100. Lens is worth what before and after? Maybe $75-100 more than before the CLA. IMNHO of course. Good luck.

Don't bother. The lens isn't worth that much and if you add on the cost of a CLA the item will exceed its value. Besides, buyers already have an expectation of such flaws in older Leitz glass and even if you list the item as clean and clear on ebay most including myself will not believe it anyway.

My experience is that a CLA on lens or camera makes it more attractive to a buyer but rarely if ever increases the price.
