Recently a friend of mine discovered that a puppy she sold with her Kennel name on the Puppy Registration had been WHITED OUT by the buyer. Of course she was shocked that someone would even do such a thing but she notified AKC. They did confirm that this IS ACCEPTABLE WITHOUT the signature or initials of the breeder. So if you want to insure that your kennel name is on those papers you had better register the puppy BEFORE handing over those papers. Pat
