Planetfootball.com is running a poll now about the player of the year.

Who do you think is the player of the year ?

At the moment van Nistelrooy is the leader, but I dont think is the player of the year. I fancy Pires and Shearer higher.

Pires because of his contribution, and goals, he is allways a danger (sorry to see him inured) Shearer is the surprise of the year, everyone thought he was out of it, but a the end he is pushing for the golden boot and the press would love to see him in the Englang team again.

My vote is for Shearer !
