Try www.lehmans.com//. They sell new ones.

Um, do you mean that you are trying to purchase a wringer washer complete? Or do you mean that you want to buy a replacement wringer for a wringer washer?

If you are trying to find an entire washer I suggest you try looking on the Back Woods Home website. They have a swap meet type board and may have one listed.

Another place to look is the Leighmans (sp) catalog (they have a website) they sell all kinds of retro stuff to the Amish and the Mennonite communities and the have new ones listed but I don't know for how much.

Cheers

Go the Maytag Wringer Washer Classifieds . There are a zillion ones there for sale and also parts, if you need. Also there are other intersting old Maytag items that you may never knew existed like the Maytag steam presser, Maytag lawn mowers, Maytag Meat Grinder, Maytag butter churn - but they mostly have wringer washers.

The listings are free and you can also post an ad that you are looking for a wringer washer. I did so, and is how I got mine. I ended up with a series "J" in excellent condition for $70. The really funny thing was that it turned out the person who answered my ad lived only a few blocks away! You never know!

Just a note: If you have a Maytag washer of any type - even early Maytag wringer washers, if you go to the website and email them they will send you a copy of the original manual for free!!!

Ooops, sorry forgot to add the ending tag in the link so everything else doesn't get underlined!

Ok, this is going to be one of those days! Click here for the Maytag site.

Also, at the maytag site you can get copies of Service Manuals (heavy duty paper cover, three hole punched for placement in a loosleaf notebook), that tells/shows you how to take them apart, trouble shooting, etc. These are not free, mine cost $8.00, but well worth it.
