What I think macbeth is trying to say is that AC and Inter, like us, have to QUALIFY for the CL (Juve &c. don't). If we are not seeded in this qualification round, we might have to beat a team like AC or Inter before we get to play in the CL. Scary.

There is seeding so we are no likely to be drawn against a team from one of the "big" countries - Italy, France, Holland, Jormany, etc

we might have to beat a team like AC or Inter before we get to play in the CL. Scary.Surely it's not at all scary to have a CL without one of the Milan clubs? :-)
