I hope that this page displays properly, I simply haven't been able to get Greenspun to accept this information however much I break it down.

Looks fine to me, Softie. Though you might want to put a P tag in between the PL and Div 1 tables to separate them. Any chance of trading HTML advice for league points? ;-)

Not a good day for the Fatties, due mainly to most of them being oot on the hoy on a Satda neet. A cunning stunt from the league organiser to wait until we'd all gone doon the pub before playing the bliddy game. It wez aalreet fer the oppo, being used to training in a S&N establishment but wor lads were half-cut before the game even kicked off. What made it even worse was the home crowd. "Give us an M, Give us an I, Give us an N, give us an E, Give us an S...........". Bah - my lot thowt he wez chearing fer us, thick bu99ers.

Aah wez ganna tear a strip off the Fatties, but that's varnigh impossible due to their bliddy strips being skin tight (a bit like the Fatties themselves last neet - well tight, we were). However, in the long run (crikey, even the thought of a long run scares the cr@p oot o' them) I think this would be counter-productive, so instead I'll be insisting that from now on they pull their weight.

We've got an extra training session today doon at Hedgeley Field where we're playing rounders against The Wooler Backs. Then the morra, it's Powburn Show (same venue, 2:00pm start) and we'll be there after yet more training in The Plough. So, if any of you fancy a day oot, what better than a lovely trip to Edwin's Kingdom. There's not a cloud in the sky this morning an more of the same promised for the morra. All procedes to a grand cause - The Powburn Jubilee fund. There's even a rumour that The Tractor Boys might put in an appearance. (That's quite enough unsolicited advertising - Ed).

I feel nauseus. Must be altitude sickness...

Perhaps we've started the season on a role because of our involvement in the Inter Totty. Our pharmacisttrainer has also been doing some work on our stamina and the lads sticking rigidly to a liquid diet is paying dividends (well, the dividends from the Brewery have increased)

Battle of the Bulge was on the telly yesterday afternoon. Get yer Panzer songs oot fer the lads!

Meantime, in a Blitz of good form, the mighty Wark-macht have stormed their way to another victory. Onwards to victory, meine tapferen Soldaten and afterwards a slap up tea with sausage and sauerkraut!
