NO! You can't play with my Noctilux. I'll never give it up. You'll have to pry it from my cold, dead fingers. Seriously, just get one. Playing around with a Noctilux will probably disappoint you at first because it takes a bit of getting use to. All the little "cheating" you can get away with when focusing other lenses disappears with this lens. It's a long term committment, but a rewarding one.

yes, initial playing will dissapoint, but after you have grown huge muscles in your focus ring turning fingers and accept the poor optical performance (...I mean wonderful painterly effects) at F1 its not too bad after all
