Listening to NPR (National Public Radio) which is a nationwide broadcast and on comes the bloody mayor of Hartlepool. They actually had a bit on this well respected radio program about a mascot that has been voted mayor of an English town. He was going on about giving free bananas to the kids (which is good) and this whole monkey business.

I kept wondering to myself wouldn't it have been funnier if it was Sunderland.
