New Aussie breeding program - Sheeparoos? : LUSENET : Current News - Homefront Preparations : One Thread

Carl, if sheeparoos become established as a species, they may not be a hardy species and so die out. I say that because I think jackalopes have died out in the American West (there is a lot of photographic evidence to indicate that these horned jackrabbits were fairly common at one time).

One wonders if this would give more bounce to women's sweaters...

Downunder we call these woollie jumpers

Trans. note: jumper = sweater

In the UK and probably Oz and NZ, a jumper is called a pinafore dress, sometimes a gym slip if it's an old-fashioned piece of a school uniform.

Suspenders are called braces.

Garter belts are called suspender belts.

Pants are trousers.

Skorts are culottes.

It's very confusing.

And garage is pronounced garage. Talk about confusing!
