I have a Gitzo carbon fiber tripod w/Arca Swiss monoball head and a quick release plate to attach my Canon EOS-D30 to the head. I want to get a pair of Speedlite 550EX flash units and a digital camera bracket to allow mounting my camera (with BG-ED3 battery grip pack) and one 550EX to the Arca Swiss head and still be able to use a quick release plate to attach the bracket/camera/flash assembly to the head. Can anyone tell me if this is possible with the Newton Di400 bracket or possibly one of the Stroboframe brackets or some other manufacturer? Currently I have no flash equipment so any recommendations/suggestions would be greatly appreciated about what to get and where to buy the equipment as I am ready to purchase as soon as I can determine what to purchase.
