F/S Mint R6.2 and 180/2.8 APO, winder

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

I love my M's, but I just can't get into the R system. I'm selling the following items, email me if you're interested. I figured I'd offer the stuff to true leica fans before listing it on ebay.

Leica R6.2 black, Ser# 1994xxx, mint in orig. box and plastic case w/ orig. unused strap, $1300

APO-Elmarit-R 180/2.8 Ser# 03815xxx, mint in box, $2600

Motor Winder R with grip, both mint in boxes, $250

This equipment was all bought new and I've shot maybe 10-15 rolls through it, max. Will sell seperately or as package. Make an offer.

I respectfully suggest you are pushing it with these high prices! I could buy these from a store at similar (or cheaper) prices and get a useful guarantee. I think you will be very lucky if you get these prices on ebay - take a quarter off and you may get a buyer. Just my opinion...

If anyone is interested in these items, please make an offer.

The 180/2.8 APO is around $3300 new, and it is difficult to even find used. I looked over the R6.2's that have sold on ebay and think this is a fair price, but I'll entertain offers.

BTW, I forgot to mention that the 180 comes with a B&W filter. The R6.2 comes with the leica rubber eyecup.

Sorry, I also forgot to mention that the 180 is the ROM version.

Sorry, I did not mean to "queer your pitch"! I realized after I posted my reaction that I would be irritated by someone doing this to me. It is definitely worth a try..
