Pushing a pram when you have a visual impairment

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Disabled Parents Network : One Thread

The question of mobility when you are a parent with a visual impairment and you use either a white cane or a guide dog is one which gets aired on the media every so often. This has been the case on In Touch (BBC Radio Four, Tuesdays at 8.40pm). Currently the best solution is to contact a nationwide organisation known as REMAP. This is an organisation which makes/adapts pieces of equipment where nothing commercially available will do the job.

For the 'nth' time in 20 years they have come up trumps with a 'harness' solution to pulling a modern day pram. DPN's helplines have the information for REMAP.
