What has everyone been doing last three days that the forum was down? I have been having adventures in Oamc-(once a month cooking) though I broke it down over several days. Can't get in the garden-its a swamp... I havn't planted everything, becuase our last frost date is May 5th, I have seedlings and little plants in newspaper cups all over the house. I have also been working on the quilt block exchange. I got a lot done, but I have missed everyone.

We finished the chicken house, and Lance put up a temporary pen with some heavy hog-wire panels we had in the barn. It should do for a few days until we can get started on the "real" pen.

I haven't planted anything except for my potatoes and onions, which are doing well. It's getting late for some stuff around here, but I'm going to plant it anyway - especially my tomatoes and peppers, green beans and corn. Oh, and the cucumbers! We are almost out of pickles! I might as well say I'm just going to plant it all at once!

We are leaving tomorrow for Tulsa (about 100 miles to the Northeast of OKC for those who don't know). Lance's grandmother is having a garage sale and wants me and the boys to come help. Lance decided to drive us up and then come back and get us on Sunday, so he gets to see everyone too. (his sister and her husband live just about 15 miles from Grandma and Papa George, so we'll get to see them also).

Nick had his Sonshine School program Tuesday night - they are all so cute! The youngest classes (18 months and down) have a "style show" and just come across the stage with a parent while the teachers tell who they are and something cute about them. The older classes all sing a song or two, and the kindergarten class this year put on an "America" slide show with pictures of the kids in school and pictures that were brought in from family vacations in places like Texas, New York, etc., and pictures of some of the daddies who are firefighters, police, military, etc with their kids. They sang "God Bless the USA" and "This Land is Your Land". It was really adorable, and my kids wasn't even in that class!!

Tonight is the last night of swimming lessons for a couple of weeks, and tomorrow is the track and field day at the elementary, then we leave, so I'd better get with the packing!

I enjoyed the backup site, but sure missed everyone here!
