Alain Perrin to leave Troyesgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread |
It sounds as though Alain Perrin is about to leave Troyes. He's had two offers too good to turn down, and is deciding between Lyon and Marseille. It will be interesting to see how both he and Troyes perform next season. If he choses Lyon, there's a chance we could get to see him next season in the CL.

A pretty good manager!

Ya, we should really keep track of this guy. I also hope the board tracks good managers to replace Bobby when he steps down. I dont want it to be a last minute decision even if we get at least a years notice. We should follow them now very closely, thats even more important then scouting players.

It won't be a last minute decision - it's already been taken.

I didn't get where I am today by wondering if they find his clothes strewn across the beach.

Perrin has just signed a contract with Marseille. He has been appointed General Manager, which is equivalent to an English-style manager, rather than a European coach. It will be interesting to see how he gets on there.
