The season ticket I've been using belongs to someone else and to cut a long story short I don't have a season ticket for next year, what I'm I gonna do? All my hopes for a new tix have come to nothing so I have to rely on my place on the waiting list comming good. I have a letter somewhere saying I'm on the list but the letter doesn't say how many are on the list or where I'm in the list.
A question: How many are on the list? What chance do I stand of getting a ticket considering NUFC have 44,000 of them?

I'm can't afford the really expensive seats in the sports clubs n' that. God but I've got the blues!

Grim news Heed. Sorry to hear it. There will be very few defections this Summer naturally, just as there weren't many in the dark days of Gullit and TSM. I hope yr in luck but if not keep advertising yr need for a ticket as we have a number of exiled Geordies here who r unable to use their tix every game.

Don't count on getting any details about the waiting list, Heed.

It's a secret society, and you'll know where you are on it only when (if ?) you receive the request for your dosh.

PB is right re the list. I got on it about a year before the expansion and to this day have never heard boo other than confirmation of being on it after I had enquired. The number they gave me seemed to be random as it didn't match up to anything like number of people on the list or the date I had applied, etc. Don't even know if I'm still on it. When the extension opened and letters went out, I never got one, yet people on the list for less time than me got tickets. I got one through another friend who got one through a friend...etc etc. So don't really care if I'm on the list anymore. I figure eventually my own name will end up on the ticket. ;-)

Use all avenues in trying to get tickets, including posting on here. Might also be worth calling the club every so often over the summer to see if any ST's in your price range become available. I think a few people have gotten them that way.

Heed, I'm the same as Jonboy. If I can help out next year I will. Let me know and I'll keep you posted. Probably only get up for every other game.

Things are looking up Heed. I can see you setting up as a ticket tout outside The Strawberry at this rate! :-)

Before the start of this season. The waiting list was less than 10 months.

I applied early in the 200-2001 season and got a season ticket for the 2001-2002 season.

Not only that, but i applied with a friend and asked to be sat together.

So basically after 10 months they were able to put 2 people next to each other in the sand they requested. So it was really easy.

Hope that helps. Obviously due to a good season it will now be longer than a year but it can't have changed too much. How long you been on the waiting list?
