Depends on where you get it. I purchased 2 of them for about $200.00 through the E-bay auction. You have to be patient and wait for the right time. I have seen them go for as much as $500.00. They are very nice I love both of mine, and it took me a long time to purchase them at that price. Best of luck to you !

I would guess from your e-mail that you are in the UK?

Jessops Classics currently have an excellent example for £299.00 UK with a warranty for peace of mind. see www.jessops.com/classic under Canon Reflex for details.

I bought mine in mint condition for somewhat more than that a few years ago and it has proved an excellent camera in all situations. A purchase I have never regretted.

Jessops also have a 50mm 1.4 SSC lens for £79 which is a bit steep for the breech lock mount and a lens which could have been made as long ago as 1971!

You would be better to look for a New FD mount with the locking button introduced from June 1979. Their performance is as good and they will be newer and I would not expect to pay more than £50 for a good one from a reputable camera shop. (Look for boxes/instructions/receipts etc. as a sign of a previous caring keeper)

The 300TL flash is a more difficult one. You may find one at a camera dealer but there weren't many sold compared with the T90 or 50mm 1.4's. A good flash, full of features with the T90 but you may have to resort to e-bay to find one. There is currently one in a UK auction with the bid at £50 which runs out on 15th May 2002.

An alternative may be the more widely available 299T Speedlite which lacks a lot of the clever features but does offer fully automated flash of a similar power.

It is worth searching these items out carefully. A T90 system in good order will give you a quality outfit which will out perform (with a little practice)ANY modern auto-focus system at the same sort of money.
