Have you tried sprinkling it with kitty litter, let sit a bit, then vaccum?

Try baking soda. Sprinkle it and let it sit for a week or so. Now....don't laugh, everyone, but I heard that doucheing liquid removes odor on stuff. Worth a try!

There is little you can do that will be effective on killing the smell of gasoline other than good old airing out. leave your trunk open and pointed into the sun and the odor will quickly dissipate.

This happened to me in the back of my stationwagon. Peeeuuww! is right, makes you light headed. The carpet pulls out of my wagon so I pulled it out and vacuumed it and hun it on the line for as long as I could. Washed down the other parts. Newspaper is a good absorbent, both smells and liquids. Charcole too may work. Leave the trunk open whenever you have the chance. The gas will evaporate and the smell will disapate (sp).
