Has anybody tried the Metz 54 MZ3 on a CTOOM flash bracket? Is the CTOOM’s shoe far enough from the M body to mount the 54 MZ3? Does the flashgun obstruct the viewfinder? Any help would be much appreciated.

BTW, I emailed Leica UK to ask if the CTOOM / Reprovit modification can still be made to an M6TTL or M7 (fitting the stud on the left side of the body, as on M3s and M2s). They sent me a reply that the modification for an M6TTL costs £71.50 + VAT (£81.01). They don’t know about the M7 yet, until they get further servicing information.
