In Emporia,Ks. in the 1960's is when they opened the first one called the Pizza Cellar----which was started by one of the first men who started Pizza Hut---as he was going to college in Emporia, Ks, at the time-- So Pizza was served in Kansas in the 1960's----& one of the men who started Pizza Hut---which I'm getting old & can't remember names---- anyway one of the men who started Pizza hut /nation wide was going to college at Emporai, Ks, at that time & their first pizza place was called hte Pizza Cellar & we ate there often--- right answer--to the wrong question??????
