Sneezing Chicks

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Style Homesteading : One Thread

I have about 50 Cornish Crosses in my garage. They are almost feathered out. I noticed today that some of them are sneezing. Any suggestions?

Thanks Stan...but I was thinking more along the lines of a remedy. But I'll keep your suggestion on file, just in case.

My MIL gives her chicks antibiotics when they start sneezing. She only gives it for a couple of days, and it seems to work wonders. She gives them the kind that goes in their water.

Hi Mike, I put colloidal silver in their water for a few days, and it goes away. If you don't have that, use the package of antibiotic from the feedstore. In His grace, Sissy

We had a couple that did that, we just let it ride and they stopped. You might try a little apple cider vinegar or maybe some garlic, or as Sissy suggested.
