Felt a bit sorry for that linesman at Arse tonight - there was no way he could see the ball over the line with Cole's backside totally obscuring his view.

There was a Nationwide Div One game recently when something similar happened. West Brom had a perfectly good goal chalked off by blind officials because it was cleared from a good 2 feet BEHIND the line by a Rotherham defender. Telly showed this very clearly. Folk were saying it might keep WBA down. Well it didn't but the point Rotherham got get them above Crewe on goal difference and poor old Crewe got relegated.
