BR to Succeed George Burley!

Yes, that's what I thought too!!

Under this same headline(!) Teamtalk are reporting that BR is favourite to succeed Ipswich's George Burly as PL Manager of the Year!

Let's just hope the same doesn't happen to BR next season as has happened to Burley in this disastrous season for Ipswich.

IMHO - I know they aren't safe but Sam Alledice has to be the winner.

Allerdyce has conducted himself very well (talking about a battle for survival while top of the Premier) and has managed some senasational results (away to Man Utd, Leeds Chelsea Arsenal etc). However I think he is just unlucky to have done all this in the same season as YBR's monumental achievement and as well as the footballing achievement, YBR has brought a dignity and a smile to football, two qualities often lacking in football management. No Contest.

Allardyce should be disqualified for continuing to insist that Craig Bellamy`s disallowed goal against the Mackems was offside, even after it was explained to him (and shown a dozen times) that Bellamy was behind the ball when it was played.

Why? Well when it comes to managing to keep a team who everyone (even Bolton fans)had a dead cert to do down, they lost their best left back yet still managed to stay up without resorting to hoof & hope, I say well done. On top of that, he's manged to get one the games greats to help Bolton survive whilst everyone thought it imposible & he'd only be here for the money, what happens, Jorkyff (sp!!) not only runs his socks off, when he scores he shows as much passion as he would scoring for France in the WC.

Plus, he's done that without risking the future of the club.
