Red Lion, Earsdon. Sadly this pub is in England so the moment the final whistle was blown they turned the telly off to hold a pub quiz. Didn't want to see the post-match interviews anyway muttermuttermuttermutterbahhumbug

At home looking at the fixture lists for the upcoming season of 01/02. I have second sight. I can see through walls. Not that seeing through walls is second sight - I mean I have second sight AND I can see through walls.

Darwen End Upper Tier actually. Good place to be. Courtesy of the excellent Screacher and his last minute invitation.

Sat at my desk in Annapolis, MD, the whinging-secretary having left for the day(Thank you!!), head in one hand, ear next to speaker, other hand on mouse refreshing the matchday thread page, feet tapping the floor faster than Savion Glover in full flight, trying not to whimper too loudly lest anyone still left at the office think I was having a nervous breakdown. Punched the air, silently shouting YES! YES! YES! when the final whistle finally blew. Looked around for someone to hug that would understand, but was met by the mechanical hum of a printer, a computer, and a scanner. So settled for giving my cat extra food and head scratches when I got home. :-D

At my desk at work listening to our glorious radio broadcast from the Official Site. Well, even that sounded Okay at that moment.

I had just completed two hours of yoga all nice and relaxed until Wonkey sent me a text saying we were getting beat 1-0!

I rushed home and when I turned the TV it was 2-2 and we were playing keep ball! there was about 77 mins on the clock.

Darwin End, Upper Tier, Row 13, Seat 17 - within bawling distance of Screach and Mungo.

Actually, I spent quite a lot of the match retrieving drunken Geordies from the gaps between the concrete terracing and the backs of seats, who were leaping/falling over rows of seats/occupants following every half-chance and every cr@p decision by Mr Rennie, of which there were a great many!

BTW, before Screach or Jonno blow the gaff, I better own up as to where I was when Alan Shearer scored his 200th PL goal. I was actually 50yds down Leazes Terrace - having done something I never ever do - that is left SJP 2 minutes from the end believing that Dean Kiely's save from his 86th minutes chance meant that the 'Big Occasion' would be either at Blackburn or v WHU on Saturday!!

As the air exploded with noise, I knew immediately what had occurred and boy was I gutted. I still can't believe it missed it. Bugger, bugger, bugger!! Still, I was THERE when we qualified for the CL.

Craven Cottage - Putney End.

Transistor radio plugged into my head with the score updates comming through. People couldn't understand why I was cheering at inappropriate times :)

Well any PL game is better than none.

hunched over me pc, listening to the webcast, chewing on the remains of what used to be fingers.

Sitting on the cooch, nursing a cold and watching Barça getting stuffed on the telly while listening to the webcast.

Also, of course, on the Match thread. One of them, anyway...

Sitting in the club onto my 5th Snakebite, arguing that Uliar Runny has a grudge against NUFC. Citing Elliots card and numerous B'burn unpunished fouls as evidence.

Jack Walker Stand, Upper Tier (Magenta area) Row 18 Seat 185. And surrounded by Blackburn fans who, to their enormous credit, gave Shearer a huge round of applause when the tannoy man made reference during the pre match kick about to his 200th goal.

Sadly, I chose to be in the row that contained the ten weakest bladders in Lancashire and was up and down like a tart's draws all night! It's a bugger having to sit on your hands when the great man scores though!!

Yer a brave man Clarky - thankyou for sharing that with us. I think 200 hail Shearer's should be sufficient penance plus you should clearly be seen as the last man standing in the East Stand after the lap of honour on Saturday.

Did you see it before the game when Shearer was signing some autographs and chucked his training sweatshirt into the small crowd of young Newcastle fans?

One kid at the front was jumped on by about another 12 as they all went for the one shirt. It looked quite funny but you have to feel a bit sorry for the lad at the front who will be nursing multiple bruises today.

Sky on telly one side of the room....PC on the other with one of the match threads...

My 3 year old lad refusing to go to bed running round shouting "Toon Army". "Shearer" Think he was copying his dad.

In Pismo Beach (Central Cali) holding my daughter above my head, watching the game on Fox Sports World, singing the Shearer song and telling the wife how much I love Bobby Robson while she was doing all of the work for Abigails 1st birthday party. An enjoyable day.
