Answers

There's always the stories of the college kid who died eating nothing but Ramen for two years. Or the guy who lived off eating his disections in science class. But what's the worst thing you've eaten in college to just get by. To add to your revulsion of me, the worst thing I had to do was survive on nothing but Cough drops and Cigarettes for two and 1/2 days. Commuting and being stuck in Seattle with no money sucks.

I think the worst thing I've had to "survive" off of is Terry Hall dorm food. Big Jim and I would often go down to Terry Cafe to see what the Carved Beast of the Day was, and then see if we could find something a little more appetizing than that. We usually never did, and I wound up eating a lot of old sushi. Sometimes Jaimee and I would try to get creative and make things, like the time Jaim made stuffing without butter. Boy, that was good. Not.

Not too long ago, there was a time when I was completely broke. I had no money to buy new food, so I was forced to eat the stuff that was still in my cabinets -- stuff I hadn't liked enough to eat when I initially bought it. For a couple days, I ate very little that wasn't made with Bisquick. Pancakes, biscuits, waffles, etc. That was my domain.

I hate Bisquick now.

It wasn't college but....white rice and water for about 2 weeks. I've also gone about 2 weeks eating only fruit. There was also a time (about 5 days) when I ate nothing but Calpis Icebars.
