Traded a IIIf some time back with holes in the shutter curtain. Got an estimate from Peachtree in Atlanta for $349.50 Which seems high. Work to be performed includes 2 shutter curtains to be replaced and the repair of shutter and transport. Any comments or suggestions. Ed

neither krauter nor DAG wil be any cheaper i am afraid. if that is the case, call apc camera in haverhill mass. alternately, you mite consider selling your iiif as is, and just buying a new, fully functional iiif. but you already knew that.

The price is way too high. I had Al Bannones ,who is a recommended repair person on the LHSA site, Here is a link to the site. He replaced both curtains and did a CLA on a IIIc I believe for $150 about a year ago.
