I work for an educational video company. We are having some titles digitized and I need to know the pros/cons of having them VCD compatible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

VCD is nice and probably appropriate for hobbyists like us here but for professional requirements like yours why not go whole hog DVD?? You'd be surprised at the value now out there. Read: it's not as expensive as u think.
