I need to get my new company to be able to accept credit cards. I 've found a couple of sites which will let me do that and also helpfully point people who supply on-line shopping cart offerings. Sounds good except there are over 70 possible partners.

Anybody able to recommend someone they have used ?

Can't say I have experience of any such companies. I'm surprised there's as many as 70 but my guess is you would feel more comfortable with a bigger (and hopefully safer) name? WorldPay is the one that springs to my mind but I've no idea about their costs/standard of service.

I'm sure all the info you need to research this is on the net and I'm sure you're already ploughing through this. One thing you might want to weigh up in your choice is the effect of the name on your customers. Depending on who the end consumers are some people are wary of dealing on the net and some names might carry more assurance on this issue than others. This is a point that could be overlooked as you consider mainly the costs to you and the efficiency of the service on offer.
