Oi! Wake up! Match day tomorrow!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

We're all nodding off and have to lift ourselves sharpish.

Charlton:

The good news: only 4 players scored more than once in the league this season and their top scorer (Eull) only on 10.

The bad news: they are good away from home having notched up plenty of wins and draws with only a 2-0 loss at Anfield to classify as a "howking".

We're going to have to sing tomorrow or face the consequences.

Charlton also love coming to Tyneside. This year we seem to have a bit of grit in the team, so I don't expect to lose. Winning might be different matter.

Predict a nervy and unsatisfactory 1-1 draw.

On TV?

Who's going ?

Distin in the middle with Bernard at left back, Speed in the middle of midfield with Dyer, Jenas on the bench. LLL and Shearer up front for me. therefore:

Given
Hughes, Distin, O'Brien, Bernard
Solano, Dyer, Speed, Robert
LLL, AS

Dabs, Jenas, Chopra, Harper [ 1 Bellamy 2 Cort]

We were complacent against Ipswich, lackadaisical for an hour against Everton and doonright shite against Fulham in the last three home games. It’ll be fantastic tomorrow.

Sounds more like lady-Godiva-in-goggles-waders-and-snorkel if I remember jonno's tastes correctly. Oh, not to mention the horseraddish sauce.
