Are their any Leica photo groups or Leica photographers that have gatherings or get togethers etc. or any that would like to in the Los Angeles area? I'm in Sherman Oaks. Just curiou

I live in L.A. But to be honest, I'd be more interested in a serious photo group that met once every couple of weeks or a month to brainstorm and vote on an assignment, which is then individually carried out, and critiqued at a subsequent meeting. No contests or equipment stroking, just a friendly get together for the sole purpose of improving photographic technique.

suggest you post a letter in one of the Leica dealers in LA(Samys) and Newport Beach,Orange County.In all the time I spent in that area seldom saw a Leica user...Whereas now in Toronto,they're everywhere! Of course Downtown Toronto is compact,kind way to say really small compared to LA.and LA county.Orange County also really large area. Good luck!
