Lolo speaks - and here's the juicy bit

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

Don't have the ability or time to do a full trans, but he says Charlton will be dangerous as they need the points, it'll be physical and we need to start well; no new injury probs, Shearer trained today. Then they ask him:

On your forum, the geeks have been speculating about your possible departure to Chelsea.

To which I think (this is where slight mistranslation can play havoc so don't take my interp as gospel) he replies:

They're also talking about it in England but the championship is not even over yet. I want to finish my season the right way and to achieve the goals of the club, that is to say a place in the Champions League. Then, I have a contract with Newcastle where I feel very good.

....makes him Italian then? ;->

.... with Newcastle where I feel very good

If that's true, more power to his elbow.

I can live with his being so laid back on the pitch if he keeps the free kicks doing the business.

Frustrating most of the time, but by god, he can't half whack them.

Yes, I think can live with that.

We can't let him go unless there is something better on the horizon. And I'm sure the Chumps League would suit his international aspirations better than Chewsee and the UEFA cup.

If Lolo and Young Kevin get to play CL with The Toon next season, I can't really see them leaving to Chelsea and Leeds respectively. That would be a step down ;')
