Teddy Roosevelt

My guess is Thomas Jefferson. He is attributed to changing what we eat and how we grow it in this country (potatoes, tomatoes (both thought to be poisons), invented macaroni and cheese and the first macaroni making machine, among many many others). He also loved to cook and entertain and try his recipes and new finds on his friends and associates. He also completely changed farming practices (he invented the moldboard plow) and how and what we grow. He was also a wine maker. By the way, he invented the swivel chair!

My guess would be LBJ. He was famous for his barbecue and chili. I assume he could cook other things, too.

The president in question had chef's training early in life.~

Hey, Gayle, I know lots of men who cook barbeque and chili, but STILL can't find the spoons!

DDE is correct Bob.

New question: What subject has generated the most movie versions?

Mitch, if I understand your question correctly, I'd guess "good vs evil," love, or comedy.

Testy, Testy - I know you clean up after yourself, don't you Mitch?

I'm going to guess Wyatt Earp - seems there have been more than a few movies about his life and adventures.
