No striker, when Bellamy is injured IN: Emerton, Quinn, Da Silva, Dunn and Jansen

Out: Wayne Quinn, McClen, Serrant(??) Do we have these kind of money ?? We need both Dabs and Speed, they have the irreplaceable experience, very very important !!!

Who is the might Quinn that you both want to sign? According to soccerbase.com the Quinns are:

Niall (Mackems), Wayne (Toon), Alan (Sheff W), Barry (Coventry), Patrick (Preston), Phillip (Chester), James (WBA), Andrew (Scarborough), or up North Brian (Berwick) and Ciaran (East Stirling). Or perhaps Mick is making a comeback after he lost his licence for the nags?

I see that liverpool are now ahead of leeds in the chase for Emerton, apparently his agent is meeting the scousers attorneys. No mention of how freddie wined and dined his family in Oz.

Aye, I meant Bridges too!! Doh!!!

Serrant retired injured. Has anyone on here ever seen Emerton, or do we just presume he's okay 'cos we've been linked for a year and he'll cost a fortune. Agree Duff, he's lightening. Not Jansen, he's two faced. Yes deffo to Stam. He was my player of the year in his second season.

no one has had a really good word to say about Emerton, he hasn't impressed at all the few times I've seen hime this season (Australian World Cup games, Feyenoord v Celtic), which probably menas he's the next Craig Bellamy

In: Whoever Bobby Robson wants to sign, I'll trust him, but Bridge and a classy centre back would be nice.

Out: Quinn, Marcelino

WE need players like Dabizas and Speed as squad players at the very least.

In: Bridge, Southgate, Christie, Dunn

Out Marcelino, Quinn (or Elliot), Bassedas

wouldn't like to lose speed just yet as once we play jenas full time Speed at his age will do nicely for cover. It will take a year to whinge enough for a transfer. Stam would be tops but I ain't holding my breath. My prediction is that we'll get no more than 3 players during the off season that cost any money, maybe the odd Bosman. We still got no real money to speak of.

IN - W. Bridge , Carrick, T Sinclair,

OUT - Farcelino, Quinn, Acuna, Bassadas,

TBC...

Carrick was hopeless for the U-21's last week - he didn't look anything like as good as JJ, although he is a rather different kind of m/f player.

Actually, I was impressed by JJ's former colleague, David Prutton, playing for the U-21's a couple of weeks ago.

OUT Shepherd and Hall IN Al Fayed and Risdale

I'd hang on to Dabz and Acuņa for now. We are sure to pick up injuries next year and they are both decent squad players.

I'd shed no tears over the exits of Bassedas, Quinn or Griffin. Griffin has ability but seems to be perma-crocked or stuck in the reserves. If we could get a price for him, ta-ta.

And Marcy of course but I can't see it. Maybe he can help the reserves win something?
