Beloved Children of God, Greetings on this day! Ministry is of the utmost importance to the people of God. Ministry is the vehicle by which we win souls for Christ, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help the downtrodden, visit the imprisoned, heal wounds and formulate deliverance. Most of all, ministry connects humankind with divinity. Today, we greet you in the name of the Lord because ministry is our desire and aspiration. There is something wonderful about to happen in the city of Murray, Kentucky - a new ministry is beginning for the service of the community! Upon recent appointment from the Church, we have come to the beautiful city of Murray to initiate a ministry of outreach to the surrounding communities and we would like your help to share in this miracle.
Property has been given for this ministry, however there are a few concerns with the building. The property on 304 Mulberry Street in Murray is a church formerly known as Wayman Chapel A.M.E. Church. This church building has not been in operation for approximately five years and needs a tremendous amount of repairs. Because of structural damage and deterioration to the facility it is increasingly necessary to raise a minimum of $25, 000. To say the least, there is a vast amount of work set before us. For this facility to be a vessel of service the following repairs are mandated: replacement windows, wall repair/ replacement, new carpeting, painting, roof work and a plumbing system. At its present state, it is unsafe and not sanitary.
Our goals include the development of a spiritual worship service, Bible study for the surrounding community as well as to the Murray State University students and the development of other faith based ministries such as: a housing ministry, a food bank, a clothing closet for those of disadvantaged status and a Christian Counseling Ministry. Today, we are soliciting your support to begin this meaningful mission. We encourage you to visit the property, as we are seeking to refurbish the building to be a blessing to the kingdom of God.
Please take a look at the pictures of the facility and consider making a donation for the cause of this ministry. Pictures can be found on the web site http://www.forministry.com/uskyafmecnlnln or just click here New Life A.M.E. Church . Let us share in this miracle together. Any donations are tax deductible; all businesses and organizations that make donations will be listed in our souvenir journal for the Initial Service on Sunday, May 26, 2002. Please make all checks payable to New Life A.M.E. Church.
We thank you in advance for your great support in these endeavors. May the blessings of the Lord be with you.

Dear Rev. Wilson I am very impressed with the vision, the aim and the goal. While I am praying for the success of this new house of God I cannot assist with fund raising until later this summer. I will pledge a minimum of $500.00 U.S but desire to give more. May God Bless You and the ambitious work you have undertaken.
