Lynda I must warn you that Jacko, Galaxy, Yelli, Kats, Jay and Steph will be doing the female equivalent of "sending the boys round", i.e. making sleighting remarks about your hair, nails, choice of outfits and bitchiness ;-)

Amongst our "token females" on the BBS are some of the most impressive and fanatical supporters I know. Ciara has a season ticket despite living on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, and spends a fortune to come and see the few games she can. Steph is a regular at SJP AND Kingston Park for which a medal for bravery ought to be awarded. Her photographic contributions are excellent with the "Stars in their Cars" feature amongst others. Dougal has travelled the length and breadth of the country to watch the lads home and away, Jacko follows the Toon over immense distances as well as playing a big role as a supporter of her local club, Port Vale - very commendable that - supporting the locals at a level nearer the grass roots of the game. The others I know less well but Lynda, Jay and Kats seem to travel long distances to follow the Toon. Galaxy doesn't see many games but when she does go always has a cracking story to tell of how she met the manager, or more recently, met the entire entire team at the hotel she was staying. Then there is Val, who until recently flew in from Hong Kong to see some games and when unbale to tarvel used to listen to Metro radio over the phone long distance from Hong Kong.

These are not "token females" but can be numbered amongst the best and most fanatical supporters we have. I'm proud to share their company here.

It was rotten. Even though we have some really cute babies at the minute, I really miss his presence. I`m off to collect my other British Shorthair from stud, so hopefully we will have more babies mid-June. I guess it`s one way to keep my empty nest full!(:o)
