W Ham and Spurs drawing means neither can reach us, so we're certain of 6th. SO : at worst we're in the Intertoto, it's pretty certain we're in the UEFA Cup (assumes the boring likelihood of an Arsenal - Chelsea FA Cup Final, meaning the 6th placed team gets a UEFA place - we'll know tomorrow - or, if not, we need 6 points from 4 games to stay ahead of Leeds anyway), and we need 7 points to be sure of Champion's League.

We need 7 points but the pressure REALLY is on Chelsea as they have to win all their remaining games, starting with Man Utd at home next week. If they draw, we need 5 points, if they lose, we need 4...

Most important of all - we MUST have this decided by 27 April. We don't want to go to Soton needing points. Chelsea are at home to Villa on the last day of the season.

I want Man U to win, no question.

They have to keep it up on Arsenal, who I would love to see beaten at the final hurdle after their amazing arrogance. Fine you can be confident, but saying it's wrapped up when you are 1 point ahead with 5 games left is slightly disrespectful to the other sides.

Got to agree wholeheartedly with the comments by Paul & Swift.

I was about to ask earlier whether I was the only person who actually wanted Man U to win the league rather than Arsenal. For the first time ever there is a team whom I despise more than Man U (other than the Mackems of course).

My feelings are down to Arsene Wenger who has become the new Alex Ferguson, an arrogant whinger of the tallest order. I was talking to some Arsenal fans at the cup game and told them what I thought. They totally agreed with me that although they loved Wenger for his achievements, they were concerned that the rest of the country was beginning to turn against them at a time when Alex F appears to be mellowing.

Having just watched them beat Boro in the semi final (in which I was actually rooting for the Smogs) I now don't mind whether it is Chelsea or Fulham who beats them in the final, as long as those whinging tw*ts don't win it.

Agree with you Paul, It's not Man U I dislike it is their Arrogant Fan Base ie ( The 95% who have never been anywhere near OT)The LR's of this world and a mate of mine born in Stretford are OK (just aint that many of them)

Whatever you think of them you have to admire the majority of players in their team most of whom we would welcome with open arms.

I would much rather see Man U win than Arsenal but it looks very unlikely. In some ways I am glad Chelsea won tonight as they are more likely to stop Arsenal producing the double again. Oh yeah and it guarantees us a place in Europe without the Intertoto
