I'm so excited!! Possible quilt book

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Cooking & Crafts : One Thread

Considering this week didn't start out very good(trouble with sewing machines) it's ending on a pretty good note.(my exchange squares are still giving me fits though) I received a call today from someone that wants to meet with me and discuss my idea for a quilt book and companion rulers. I'll be heading to Paducah next week to meet with them and the added bonus of getting to see what all the fuss is about with this quilt show(and a few days sans kids)AHHHH!!!The little mini vacation I've needed!! AND

the other news I'm bursting to tell but don't want to tell the family yet. I'm pregnant!! It's still early yet and the doctor had to do blood work to confirm it so hopefully he'll call monday so I can get started on the meds I need to maintain it.(I'm high risk and have to be put on progesterene) so...what a week it's been!

WOW!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Congratulations on both counts!!!! Just goes to show how we some times get dissapointed and frustrated, all because we don't see the "big" picture! Be sure and let us know how the book deal goes. You will be in our prayers for the baby that all goes well!

Wow Terri! That is so wonderful, I don't know which is better, the quilt book or the baby! (Just kidding....:^) Ihave a new nephew whom I adore and fortuantly get to spend a lot of time with its made me wonder if I want another-Id better hury up If I do. Many many congradulationS!

Its terrific about the quilt book too-and I envy you going to Paducah, while Ive been to the town, I've not made it to the quilt museum-we actually, husband and I no kids, started there last summer but somehow ended up in Louisville instead! Chek out Hancocks of Paducah- a huge fabric/quilting store-I just got thier catalog this week and its fantastic! Best of luck on your trip, and with your book!

Thanks all!!! I know I'll get down there around all that fabric and other quilting goodies and not want to leave! I probably should leave the plastic at home because I have a feeling I'll want to have it smoking!
