On another thread, this line popped up:

it is regrettable that this discussion group is not limited to pure ASCII

I disagree. Here for your enjoyment, but not particularly worth critiquing, is this one:

I just love the way the light curves round the moon highlighting the features that have inspired generations to get out their telephoto's to study the subject matter.

Baby got back! Heh. And I thought by the title this would be another, "can't we all just get along?" posts. *grin*

No telephoto here...this was a 35mm lens, uncropped except to adjust the width a bit. I like to work close...

-- Jeff Spirer (jeff@spirer.com), April 12, 2002.

I would comment that the above is some key ass....or is there any room for keys in those pants, what with all the ass.

those jeans are screaming!

Proves the old photo adage "if you think you're too close, get closer."

New from Ronco: Denim Dip!!!!!

Tired of struggling to squeeze into these skin tight jeans?!? Hate that fabric pattern embossed on your legs and sensitive bits at the end of a long day?!? You need Denim Dip! Just hop in the vat of warm liquid denim each morning, then peel off and return your contoured clothing in the evening . . .

fwiw, did nothing for me.

-- travis (teckyy@hotmail.com), April 12, 2002.

Mike, aren't you in Nashville? Then you should know something about "cowboy boots and painted-on jeans" . . . (with apologies to Dolly).

Hey I just noticed something, is that a business card in her right pocket?

Maybe it's a condom ;-)

Who says this forum is only for gear hounds?

Some how I find that I have some similar subjects in my scanned files. You have to like Florida in February.

IMHO it may be the same subject but not the same sophistication.

Jep, I agree: to hell with ASCII.

Thanks, Jeff.

Doug,

Ever wonder why so much For Sale signs here since my gear hound thread?

By the way, I don't see any artistic value in the pic. Is this a "Boys Club"? She seems trashy-but as a "member" of this "club" I can trash talk too, no?

-- Allison Reese (a_b_reese3@hotmail.com), April 12, 2002.

I agree Allison, but watch it. Jeff paid good money to his sister for that shot. get him mad and out come the wide-angle pinhole photos of Aunt Bertha in Calvin Kleins.

-- daniel taylor (lightsmythe@agalis.net), April 12, 2002.

ASCIIcking foto, Jeff!

-- Andy Piper (apidens@denver.infi.net), April 12, 2002.

Allison, one persons trash is another persons treasure. Loved your gear post. It definitely defined characteristics of the sexes. Vive la difference. Doug

Good representation of asspherical curves, no?
