As opposed to......scratching in the dirt? smoke signals? beating a drum? tap dancing?

Sporting Life have a piece about Roeder saying Hoddle could be England manager again. He talks about working under him the last time around:

"I hadn't worked with him before but I was very impressed when I saw him stand up in front of England's finest players with a flip board or a magnetic board and explain what he wanted in terms of tactics," he said.

Not sure how else he thought a manager should explain tactics in front of top players. ;-))

Give him a Rubik's cube and he'll be gone for months.

Give him a damn good kicking and it'll be longer...

As Roeder said, 'I was very impressed when I saw him stand up '. As with his footballing career, he makes the most difficult think seem so easy. Apparently he's even mastered chewing gum and walking at the same time.
