Looking for lens hood for 90mm 2.8 Tele-Elmarit M

Anybody out there have a spare lens hood for a Leica 90mm 2.8 Tele-Elmarit-M they would like to sell? Leica's product # is 12575 Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. George Martell

George: The one I have is still in heavy use 8^) - but I bought it New In Box within the past year at a dealer, and I believe somes folks have mentioned you can still get them through Leica - if no other source pans outs.

The 12575 also fit the 135 f/4 Tele-Elmar, so it stayed in production even after the TE 90 went away. In fact mine is marked "for 135mm" - with no mention of 90mm focal length in the labelling. Some dealers may have them and not know they are also 90mm hoods.

Hi George, I went through the same search about 9 months ago. Try Samy's camera in Los Angeles - that's where I found mine. They had a few more at the time. Luck, Doug

I see the hoods on Ebay for $50 or more. Is that pricey? I'm also looking for a TE hood.

New MSP is over $100 - I got my 'new old stock' hood, box and cap for about $75 - which seems to be what KEH and others ask for used versions. It's a pricey l'il devil.
