I checked from website about support hardware list, my Ricoh CDRW MP7040A shall be working properly with this software. However, I dont know why it cannot detect the CDRW when I am in the stage to store file and burn VCD.

Please help.

I've had the same problem recently and was stumped. Just by chance, I tried to rip an audio track using cdex and was greeted with "ASPI for win32 not correctly installed". I fixed this problem by reinstalling the aspi driver downloaded from Adaptech and it fixed both problems!!!

I guess I screwed up the aspi driver somehow by installing then deinstalling Nero and/or Adaptec EZ-scsi s/w.
