Are there any persons out there going through a claim involving these two companies regarding mortgage shortfall?. Also has anybody ever challenged their lenders over why they sold your house for less than it's market value? what was the outcome? Please let me know asap thanks. We can all win this hell we are going through if we all help each other to get the law changed.

Yes, I had my problems with HMC. They repossessed in 1991, sold in 1993, resisted all attempts to get details of shortfall, MIG etc., etc., got a summary judgement in 1995, and finally settled on a full and final figure in 1998. see my mails below this one with HMC in the title for my latest problems with them and Davis & co.

They are recognised to be one of the most intransigent companies to deal with. They are not a separate company from Davis & Co.
