Come on Blackburn!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Unofficial Newcastle United Football Club BBS : One Thread

No-one fretting about tonight's game at Ewood? I reckon if Blackburn lose to Chelsea, they won't lose to us. Conversely, if they beat Chelsea they might then take their foot off the gas a bit.

This really is one we need Chelsea to fail to win, because despite all the 'fate in our own hands' bollocks, we are NOT going to take maximum points from our remaining games.

No question Blackburn must win tonight, or draw...but a win would be better. We need as much distance between ourselves and Chelsea/Leeds as possible and need them to drop points as I also don't think we'll win all our remaining matches.

We won't win any games if we play like we have been. A strong Geordie link in the B/burn team may help.

For some reason Keith Gillespie wants to do well for us, according to the Chronic.

He could start by kicking Hasselbank in the nuts, and giving Gudjohnson a firm tackle or two

LeSaux would get jealous if he did that. He wanted to make Gudjohnsen's tackle firm.

How would he go about "making his tackle firm"?
