Midi system good condition, has twin cassette, radio, record player and a place to plug a CD Player/Aux into. Has graphic equalizer, is amplifier and also has microphone and headphone plugs. Has no Speakers. Model MD320

L@@K-double tapedeck-Goldstar brand Ref:983946 $15.00 Sat, 13 Apr place a bid

This is a Goldstar double tapedeck. Goes really well, has detachable speakers, stereo, 5 band graphic equlizers, Party Centre 2400. Has earphones output, Excellent condition. Older style but good lookin!!!! Would be perfect for kitchen radio/tapedeck/ batch/study etc, as there is nothing wrong with the way it looks but of course these days there are more modern groovy machines! Approx 65cm wide and 22 cm high. Happy bidding.

THEY ACTUALLY SAID "L@@K"??!?!

these days there are more modern groovy machines! = lies! audio equipment aesthetics have been steadily declining since they phased out genuine wood veneers and orange bakelite with super space- aged bubble dome rekkid player cover whatsits.

ok i'll try to stop being such a contrary bitch now. really.

i = much agreement with petra. i should get around to scanning in this photo i took of a great record player that was in this old church being used as a storage area for an a secondhand dealer's place just outside dunedin city that the owner let me and my companion sleep in for the night when we were hitching, years ago. It was orange, spherical, on legs.
duane you should try the city auctions on hope street. i try to go there every week so if you want to go with me ring me or whatever. it's every tuesday starts around 11am. they list the stuff coming up on the website www.cityauctions.co.nz and they have viewing on mondays so you can go try out the equipment and see if it works and so on. heaps of stuff goes for so cheap there and it's fun. well i think it is. but everyone else, fuck off (or don't tell anyone) cause i don't want you competing on my bids for the good stuff.

Do not accept anything less than a 3-head 2-motor machine. 3-motors are better, and if you can find it, auto-reverse is a plus too. What brands? Denon, Sony, Pioneeretc. STAY AWAY FROM THE CHEEZY RADIO SHACK HOUSE BRANDS such as Archer (really old equipement) Realistic (old equipement) and Optimus (old and current equipement)

Look for other features: Dolby B, Dolby C, VU meters (digital or analog), seperate record and playback volume controls (3-head models), source-tape moniter switch (3-head models).

Remember, if it has 3 heads per tape well, it is a good deck. If it has 2 wells and there are a total of 3 heads in the whole machine and one motor, keep lookin.
