The masters of boring football, Liverpool, are out of Europe after a 4-3 aggregate defeat to Bayern Leverkusen.

So much for their good defence, conceding four goals must be a first for them this season.

The highlights looked good last night. Always nice to see Liverpool on the wrong end of a 4-3 result, and for that nice man Young Michael Owen prove he's just as capable of making a pig's ear of chances as Carl Cort :-))
