greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread

i'm doing a project for an education class and need to have a web activity. anyone have any sites for classification of animals suitable for about 3rd grade level??? i've searched and can't find one that'll work yet and i'm running out of time. i plan to post my web site as soon as it's finished-it's required for the class. this is for my degree in elem ed, but could be helpful to homeschoolers. thanks in advance.

Hi, Laura -- try this site: http://wwwmc.nhmccd.edu/students/learn/library/learning_resource_ce nter/taxonomy.html I have it bookmarked (since this is going to be a spring homeschooling project for us, I've been doing some web research), but Ihaven't had a chance to go through it thoroughly yet. It looks really good, though!

Have fun! : )

Here's a website about farming that might be of some use to you. It was made by a teacher/dairy farmer, with much input from her farmer friends, myself included. It's aimed at kids and I know she'd appreciate constructive feedback. Cathy has to be one of the busiest people I know so a responce might take a day or twoFarm feildtrip
