We once blew a 12 point lead, is there the remotest possibility we won't blow a paltry 1 point lead ?After last night's completely pointless (reason wise) ritual, at least we can console ourselves by savouring another completely pointess ritual all day today, assuming there's a TV set in the immediate vicinity.

Pit Bill,You can switch the telly off anytime you want: you can't switch off being a Toon fan. No sensible comparison, bonny lad.

Telly wasn't my point Clarky. I was being sarcastic about the existance of an opportunity to gain some consolation, if we felt it appropriate, for last night's ultimately pointless ritual, by witnessing a second pointless ritual.I didn't mean to imply that I'd be taking advantage of that possibility. :-{E}

I did PB, and found it very moving. For a change, it actually made me feel proud to be British - however, that is a Britain that has little to do with the mean-spirited, cynical, greed and envy-ridden, 3rd world nation where I live most of my life.
